Neptune Phinisi
Four days with a beach dinner
Updated 4 November 2026
A 4 days 3 nights private phinisi trip from Labuan Bajo costs IDR 230,000,000 (≈ USD 14,110) for the whole of Neptune and up to 14 guests. Komodo and Rinca each get a day, and a set-up dinner on the beach is part of the price. Guests 15 to 18 add IDR 6,500,000 (≈ USD 399) each.
Four days, three nights: the 3D2N plan with time to spare
Four days keep every stop of the three-day route and give the park more room. Day one takes in Sebayur, Manta Point and Taka Makassar; day two Padar, Pink Beach or Long Beach, Komodo Island and Kalong at sunset. Rinca and Manjarite fill day three, and on day four you climb Kelor before the boat heads back to Labuan Bajo.
Set beside the three-day route, one difference is obvious. The 3D2N plan gives a single afternoon to "Komodo or Rinca", with the island chosen alongside the captain. Here Komodo has day two and Rinca day three, so you walk on both and nobody has to choose.
Treat this as an example route. Only the 3D2N has a fixed day-by-day plan, so the longer routes are put together from the stops it names, in a sequence agreed with the captain and open to change by weather and tide. All three nights are spent at anchor, at spots the captain chooses.
It is a round trip from Labuan Bajo, departing at 10:00 on day one. The three-day version has its own page.

A set-up dinner on the beach, included from four days
On charters of four days or more, a dinner is set up on the beach at no charge. It covers this route and the five-day one.
In practice you get a place and a table: a dinner set up on a beach for your party. We confirm in writing what will be served before the voyage.
Weather and tide pick the beach. A spot that works at one tide can be awkward at the next, so the captain decides on the day, and if the evening rules it out we tell you and agree an alternative with you.
Flowers, a cake or decorations fall outside the inclusion. Ask for them and we quote the cost before anything is added.
Two-day and three-day charters do not include the dinner; it comes free with four and five days only.
Rinca on day three, Manjarite after it
Rinca has day three to itself. After Sebayur, Manta Point, Taka Makassar, Padar, Pink Beach, Komodo Island and Kalong, the boat turns to the second dragon island, where you walk with a ranger. The dragons are wild, and a sighting is never guaranteed.
Manjarite comes after Rinca for a snorkel, so the day splits neatly into one walk and one swim.
This is what the fourth day buys. On the three-day route, Komodo and Rinca compete for one afternoon on day two; here each island gets a day of its own.
The load is spread more evenly as well. Day two is still the full one, with Padar, Pink Beach, Komodo and Kalong, but day three has only two stops. Anyone who wants the whole park without rushing will find the pace here.
For Rinca, wear closed shoes and bring a hat and water.
4D3N charter price and share per guest
Four days and three nights on the whole boat cost IDR 230,000,000 (≈ USD 14,110). That covers the vessel and its crew for 1 to 14 guests, with fuel and taxes folded into one all-in figure, and the price holds when fewer people come.
Divide it by the party: ten guests pay IDR 23,000,000 (≈ USD 1,411) each, fourteen pay IDR 16,430,000 (≈ USD 1,008) each, and a couple on their own pays for the boat.
Guests 15 to 18 sleep on extra beds in the three upper cabins at IDR 6,500,000 (≈ USD 399) each, bringing eighteen guests to IDR 256,000,000 (≈ USD 15,706) for the boat. Past 18 overnight, you need a second boat.
The sum includes three meals a day, coffee and a snack, snorkelling gear, linen and towels, the hotel or airport transfer, and the beach dinner. Charged separately are the Komodo park package (the park fees page shows the four-day figure), a guide and documentation (on request for a private charter), drinks, tips and card fees.
You cannot buy four days as a shared seat; the open trip is 3D2N only.

Day four: Kelor once more, then the drive to the airport
Kelor, which opens the final morning of the three-day route, closes this one. It is the short climb: shoes that grip, a hat and water.
The boat then returns to the harbour and the transfer takes you to your hotel or the airport. If you have a flight, ask us before booking it and we will plan the last morning around it; our advice is a flight leaving at 15:00 or later.

FAQ
What does the free beach dinner on the 4D3N and 5D4N charters involve?
On charters of four days or more, a dinner is set up on a beach for your party at no extra cost. We confirm the food in writing before you sail. Weather and tide choose the beach, and if they rule it out we agree an alternative with you.
Is three days and two nights enough, or should we take four?
Three days reaches every stop on the route, with Komodo or Rinca sharing one afternoon. Four days gives Komodo and Rinca a day each, adds the beach dinner and keeps day three light. If the dragons are why you are coming, take four.
What time does a four-day trip start and end?
You leave Labuan Bajo harbour at 10:00 on day one, after pickup from your hotel or Komodo Airport, and return to the harbour on day four. Ask us before booking a flight for that day, and we plan the last morning around it.
