Travelling solo on a shared 3D2N
Updated 4 November 2026
A solo traveller on a Komodo open trip books one cabin seat on Neptune's shared 3D2N: IDR 10,800,000 (≈ USD 663) per person in a Deluxe and IDR 12,800,000 (≈ USD 785) in the Junior Suite, two sharing, all-in for 2026. Every cabin has its own bathroom. Who shares yours is confirmed in writing before you pay.
Travelling alone on the 3D2N: the per-person fare by cabin type
A seat on the shared 3D2N sailing is priced per person, two sharing. A Deluxe seat costs IDR 10,800,000 (≈ USD 663), the Junior Suite IDR 12,800,000 (≈ USD 785), and Mansard I or II IDR 14,800,000 (≈ USD 908). Each figure is all-in for 2026, with fuel folded in. The table above lists the three cabin types.
Every cabin has an en-suite bathroom with a hot shower, air conditioning and a private balcony, so the price buys a door that shuts. It also buys three meals a day, an afternoon coffee break and a snack, snorkelling gear, linen and towels, and a hotel or airport transfer in Labuan Bajo.
The limit is plain. The seat is priced two sharing, and the cabin has one double bed. What a solo guest pays when the second place stays empty is confirmed in writing before payment, and we state no figure here.
A guide and photo and video documentation are inside an open-trip seat. The park package is not, and it is quoted beside the seat.
| Cabins | per person | Extra bed |
|---|---|---|
| Mansard I | IDR 14,800,000 (≈ USD 908) | IDR 6,500,000 (≈ USD 399) |
| Mansard II | IDR 14,800,000 (≈ USD 908) | IDR 6,500,000 (≈ USD 399) |
| Junior Suite | IDR 12,800,000 (≈ USD 785) | IDR 6,000,000 (≈ USD 368) |
| Deluxe (studio) | IDR 10,800,000 (≈ USD 663) | — |

Who shares a cabin with you
A shared sailing means sharing the boat with other travellers. The seven cabins fill with different guests, and the whole group eats at the long table and walks the same trails. You will not be alone on deck, and you will not be the only swimmer at Manta Point.
Who takes the other place in your cabin is a question we answer before you pay. The written confirmation names your cabin, your price and the arrangement for the second place. We never place a guest in your cabin without telling you first.
If you are travelling with a friend or a partner, the friend takes the second place and pays for a second seat, and both names go on one confirmation. A preference about who shares goes to us before you pay, and the answer is part of the confirmation.
A third guest in a cabin pays for an extra bed on a shared sailing. In Mansard I and II it costs IDR 6,500,000 (≈ USD 399), and in the Junior Suite IDR 6,000,000 (≈ USD 368). The Deluxe studios have no extra bed.
A solo guest's day, from harbour to anchorage
The solo day is a sequence of thresholds. A driver collects you from the Labuan Bajo hotel or the airport and takes you to the harbour for the 10:00 departure. You step aboard, go to your cabin, and leave your bag on the one double bed. The balcony door is your first view of the anchorage.
Day 1 is three snorkels: Sebayur, Manta Point and Taka Makassar, with lunch between them and dinner at anchor off Padar. Day 2 begins with the Padar climb, then Pink Beach, the walk on Komodo or Rinca, and the sunset at Kalong. Day 3 ends on Kelor and the beach, with the return after lunch.
Between stops there is nothing to do but read, swim or talk. A solo guest eats at the long table with the others and walks with a ranger. The boat is 40 m long, so there is always a corner that belongs to nobody.
Sailing dates, checked live
Open-trip availability changes daily as cabins fill, so each date is checked live on WhatsApp before you pay, and a seat is held only when you have a written confirmation. Rates are as of 4 November 2026.
The shared 3D2N sails on the operator's calendar. Send us the month and the cabin you want, and we reply with the dates that are open. If your month has none, the whole boat remains possible, and the sum for a small party is on the charter pages.
A shared date can move or close, and the replacement rule applies to a seat as it does to a boat: a boat of the same or higher class on the same date at no extra charge, or a full refund within 2 days.

Before you sail alone: what to confirm
Before you pay, confirm five things in writing: the date, the cabin and its price, the arrangement for the second place, what the seat includes, and what stands outside it. The park package, drinks, tips, flights and insurance stand outside the seat.
- Your passport details, so the park ticket can be bought in your name.
- Your flight times, so the pickup and the return fit them.
- Any dietary need, in writing, for the kitchen. Nothing is certified.
A deposit of 50 percent holds the seat, and the balance is due 30 days before sailing. We advise a flight home later than the return to Labuan Bajo after lunch on day 3, and we say that as advice, not a rule.
A seat is one half of a cabin, and a cabin has one double bed. A solo guest who wants a bed to themselves asks us before booking, and the answer arrives in writing.
FAQ
I am travelling solo: what do I pay, and who would I share with?
You book one cabin seat on the shared 3D2N. A Deluxe seat is IDR 10,800,000 (≈ USD 663) per person, two sharing, and a Junior Suite seat is IDR 12,800,000 (≈ USD 785). Your price and the arrangement for the second place are confirmed in writing before you pay.
Is there a cabin I can have to myself?
The seat price assumes two sharing, and no single price applies. We quote the figure for a cabin to yourself in writing when you ask. The whole boat is another option for a small party, priced for the boat from 1 to 14 guests.
Is a shared cabin safe for a woman travelling alone?
Each cabin has its own bathroom, so washing and changing happen behind your own door. Tell us your preference about who shares your cabin, and we confirm in writing what can be arranged before you pay. We never place anyone in your cabin without telling you.
Can a friend join me and take the second place?
Yes. The friend takes the second place and pays for a second seat, and both names go on one confirmation. If a third person joins, an extra bed in an upper cabin is available on a shared sailing at its own price.
What time must I be at the harbour on day one?
The boat leaves Labuan Bajo harbour at 10:00. A driver collects you from your hotel or the airport, and the driver's contact reaches you on WhatsApp before you sail. Tell us your flight times, and we set the pickup around them.
