Neptune Phinisi

Four planning notes, each answering one decision before you pay

Updated 4 November 2026

Planning a phinisi trip from Labuan Bajo comes down to four decisions: how you arrive, what the hull measures, what a day costs and how many beds you need. Each Neptune note below takes one of them and gives the numbers, in 40 to 60 plain words of answer first.

Ask a planning question

Planning notes drawn from the deck plan

Each note starts from a measurement, such as 40 m of hull, seven cabins or a 10:00 departure, and works outward to the decision it settles. Use them to check what to ask before you send a deposit, on this boat or any other.

Four notes: arriving, pricing, bedding, and judging the hull

Four notes cover the questions guests ask before a booking. The first is about arriving: which flight, which day, and what changes if you land on the morning you sail. The second reads the numbers on the hull, 40 m, 8 m, 260 GT, and says what each tells you about a cabin and about safety.

The third builds a charter quote line by line, so that the boat price, the lines beside it and the added night each have a place. The fourth counts beds: 14 on the boat price, 18 at most overnight, and 30 on a day charter that sleeps nobody.

Read them in any order. Each stands alone, and every sum in them follows the rate sheet dated 4 November 2026. The pages are short on purpose: a decision made at a desk should take a few minutes, not an evening.

Open the note for the decision in front of you

Choose the note by the decision in front of you. If you have not booked flights, open the arrival note first, because the flight sets the day before. If you are comparing boats, open the hull note and the bed-counting note, since they give numbers you can hold against any other listing.

If you are comparing quotes, open the price note, and put the boat price, the park package and the guide on separate lines before you compare totals. A total hides the lines that differ.

Anything the notes leave open, ask us on WhatsApp with your dates and your head count. We answer in writing, and the answer is the same whoever asks.
