KEXI's park package per guest: 3D2N: IDR 650,000 per foreign guest, IDR 350,000 per Indonesian guest; 4D3N: IDR 750,000 per foreign guest, IDR 350,000 per Indonesian guest. Komodo park fees for a private charter on Neptune are not inside the boat price. The park package is quoted per trip type, 3D2N and 4D3N shown below, and bundles the government ticket of IDR 250,000 per foreign visitor per day with ranger and local levies. We quote other routes on request.
What Komodo park package contains
The park package is Komodo Explorer's own line for what you pay to be inside the national park. It bundles three things: the government entrance ticket, the ranger who must walk with you, and local levies. It is shown per trip type, and it never sits inside a boat fare.
The government ticket is the cheapest of the three and the only one with a published tariff. A foreign visitor pays IDR 250,000 per day. An Indonesian citizen pays IDR 50,000 on a weekday and IDR 75,000 on a weekend or public holiday. Snorkelling carries no separate levy, since the entry ticket covers it.
Do not call the package the government ticket. The ticket is the park's price. The package is ours, and it adds the ranger and the levies the ticket does not cover. The table above shows the package for 3D2N and 4D3N on Neptune. For 1D, 2D1N and 5D4N we quote on request, and this page states no amount for them.

One package covers the government entrance ticket (IDR 250,000 per foreign visitor per day, PP 36/2024), the ranger fee and the local levies. It is quoted per guest and paid on top of the boat price, unless your quote says it is included. For other trip lengths, the desk quotes the package with your booking.

Working out the package from head count and number of days
The calculation has two inputs: head count and days inside the park. Each guest pays for each day the boat is inside, so a longer voyage pays for more days. A ranger is required on the Komodo, Rinca and Padar walks, and the ranger charge is set per group, not per head, so a larger party shares it.
The calculator below lets you enter the party and the trip type. It returns the package for the foreign and the Indonesian guests separately. Use it as a planning figure. The quote you receive confirms it in writing.
The park also limits visitors per day and sells entry in sessions. Bookings for a date close when the limit is reached, and the high months fill first. We buy the tickets online in each guest's name, which is why we ask for passport details ahead of sailing.

Charges left outside the package
Some charges sit outside the package. A drone is never assumed: it needs its own park permit and a daily fee, which we arrange and quote before they are added. We give no advice about where or when to fly. A commercial shoot needs a separate permit and fee. Personal photographs are free.
Tips for the crew stand outside, as do drinks and a guide with documentation if you ask for them. A harbour levy, if one is charged, appears on your quote as its own line.
Rules change. A fee that applied last year can differ this year, and the park's tariffs and its visitor limits can move with a ministry notice. We check before every quote and state the date of the check.
Paying the package: when and by what means
Tickets are bought online and paid without cash, one name per ticket. We do this for you after your deposit, using the passport details you send. You receive the ticket in your name, and it is the proof you show at the ranger post.
How the package reaches the park depends on your quote. It is either added to your invoice or settled in cash in rupiah, and we state which in writing before you pay. That way you know how much cash to carry and when.
Ask us if a guest is an Indonesian citizen. The rate differs, and so does the package. Children's park rates are not published in the sources we hold, so we confirm them on your quote.

Is Komodo Island closed in 2026?
Check the notice before you book. Our answer is dated 4 November 2026. Komodo and Padar have been closed on some dates for weather, and in some closures only Rinca stayed open. If a stop on your route is closed, we tell you before you pay.
Do I pay the park fee for each day of the trip?
Yes. The ticket is per person per day inside the park, so a multi-day voyage pays for each day. The package for 3D2N and 4D3N on the table reflects that. For other routes we quote the figure on request.
