Executive retreats and company days

A company can use the boat in two ways. The overnight retreat sleeps up to 14 guests in 7 double cabins for two to five days, with extra beds in the three upper cabins taking the total to 18 at most. The day charter carries up to thirty guests for a half day or a full day, with nobody sleeping aboard.

Here is a three-day retreat. On day 1 the group boards at 10:00, snorkels at Sebayur, Manta Point and Taka Makassar, and anchors off Padar for the night. Day 2 covers the Padar climb, Pink Beach, the Komodo or Rinca walk and sunset at Kalong, and day 3 finishes on Kelor before the return to Labuan Bajo after lunch.

Working sessions fit best into the gaps: the morning after the first night, before the climb, or an afternoon at anchor, when the dining table makes a workspace. Meetings aboard are arranged on request, with the timing agreed in writing.

Fourteen executives in seven double cabins means two per cabin. Seven, one to a cabin, is the boat at single occupancy, and because the price belongs to the boat it does not change. Pick whichever plan suits the seniority of the group.

Each cabin has one double bed, so colleagues who would rather have their own should tell us before booking. Only the upper cabins, Mansard I, Mansard II and the Junior Suite, take an extra bed for one or two guests; the four Deluxe studios on the main deck stay at two.

Every cabin has a private bathroom with a hot shower, air conditioning and a balcony, so on the Padar morning nobody waits for a bathroom before dawn.

Cost per attendee is simply the boat price divided by the head count. Fourteen executives on 3D2N share IDR 180,000,000 (≈ USD 11,043), which comes to IDR 12,860,000 (≈ USD 789) each and IDR 180,000,000 (≈ USD 11,043) in total; on 4D3N, fourteen pay IDR 16,430,000 (≈ USD 1,008) each. The price is a single all-in figure for the boat, with fuel folded in.

Guests 15 to 18 sleep on extra beds in the upper cabins, each adding IDR 6,000,000 (≈ USD 368) on 3D2N. The park package, drinks and tips are charged on top of the boat price, as are a guide and documentation if you ask for them.

Finance teams like a single line, and the boat price is it. Everything else comes itemised in the written quote before you pay.

Your finance department will want a legal name, a registration number, an invoice and a payment route. The company is PT Komodo Explorer Indonesia, NIB 1805260128363, and the invoice is made out to your company with the dates, the route and the head count.

A 50 percent deposit holds the date and the balance is due 30 days before sailing, though cash or the card machine on departure day also settles it. A card link carries 3 percent and PayPal 7.2 percent. Bank transfer, Wise and Revolut are accepted as well, and the card machine on departure day carries 3 percent.

Cancellation follows the terms: 50 percent back with 60 days' notice or more, 25 percent between 30 and 59 days, nothing inside 30 days. If the boat cannot sail, we supply one of the same or higher class on the same date at no extra charge, or refund in full within 2 days.

The day charter has one price for the boat, IDR 110,000,000 (≈ USD 6,748) for up to thirty guests, which is IDR 3,670,000 (≈ USD 225) each when a day charter is full. Ten guests on the same boat pay IDR 11,000,000 (≈ USD 675) each. Nobody sleeps aboard, and everyone is back at their hotel by evening.

Kelor, Rinca and Manjarite make up the sample route, returning to Labuan Bajo before sunset. We set boarding and the finish around your flights, and a half day is possible. Because the route is a sample, you agree the stops with the captain.

A private charter price does not include a guide or documentation. Both are available on request and quoted separately.
