A milestone celebration with a beach dinner

The line in Neptune's 2026 price list is brief: a free set-up dinner on the beach on 4D3N and 5D4N. It comes with the charter at no charge. It applies to private voyages of four and five days, and not to 2D1N, 3D2N, the day charter or the shared 3D2N.

That is the whole of it. No beach, menu or decoration is named in advance. The beach and the evening are settled aboard, by the captain, once the weather and the conditions at the landing are known. What we put in writing is that the dinner belongs to your voyage. The rest is agreed with the crew.

A celebration needs an evening with nothing else in it. A 3D2N is full from the 10:00 departure to the last snorkel, with two nights at anchor. A 4D3N gives three nights and a 5D4N four, so one evening can go to the beach and another to the deck without dropping a stop.

Both longer routes are built from the stops of the 3D2N itinerary: Sebayur, Manta Point and Taka Makassar, Padar, Pink Beach or Long Beach, Komodo and Rinca for the dragons, Kalong at sunset, then Manjarite and Kelor. The captain agrees the order with you, and the weather can change it.

For 2026 the price is per boat: IDR 230,000,000 (≈ USD 14,110) for 4D3N and IDR 280,000,000 (≈ USD 17,178) for 5D4N, for up to 14 guests, fuel included. Each guest above 14 adds IDR 6,500,000 (≈ USD 399) on 4D3N or IDR 7,500,000 (≈ USD 460) on 5D4N, with up to 18 sleeping aboard. The park package is separate, and so are drinks.

Think of the day as movement between levels rather than a timetable. Late afternoon, the party comes up from the cabins to the open deck for Kalong at sunset. On the beach-dinner evening, everyone goes ashore for the set-up dinner and returns aboard afterwards, where the boat stays at anchor for the night. On another evening dinner is laid on the long outdoor table on deck. Neptune also has an indoor dining room, so a shower of rain moves the meal inside instead of ending it.

The private part of the plan is the balcony. Each of the seven cabins has one, so the couple marking twenty-five years has a threshold of their own between bed and sea. Give them the Junior Suite or a Mansard cabin if you want them a level higher than everyone else.

A reunion of old friends reads the plan differently. Fourteen guests fill all seven doubles, and up to four more can sleep on extra beds in the three upper cabins. Reunions and big birthdays tend to bring people who have not shared a room since university, so settle the rooming list before you settle the cake. The long table on the open deck seats the whole party together, and the lounge with its wide glass windows takes the overflow once the speeches start.

Beyond the included dinner, these can be arranged and are quoted in writing once we know the date, headcount and island: a birthday cake, cabin or deck decoration, a dinner with a special request, and a photographer. Photo and video documentation is not part of a private-charter price. A drone needs the park drone permit, two million rupiah per drone per day, which we arrange; the permit does not guarantee footage, because weather and park rules decide what can be flown.

We cannot promise a clear sunset, a manta or a dragon. If the weather rules out a beach landing, the decision is the captain's; ask us in writing how the dinner would be handled on your dates.

1. At booking. Tell us the occasion, the date being marked and who the guests of honour are. We note the evening you would like for the beach and pass it to the crew.
2. 30 days before. The balance falls due. Confirm the cake, decoration, photographer and any dietary needs, and approve the quote for them.
3. Seven days before. Passport details for every guest, for the park tickets.
4. Aboard. The captain makes the final call on the beach and the evening, with the weather.

Four days give a celebration three evenings at anchor and five days give four. One goes to the beach dinner that is included; the others stay free for the deck.
