The Neptune booking team is Komodo Explorer, a Labuan Bajo company registered as PT Komodo Explorer Indonesia. We handle the quote, the deposit, the pickup and the payment; Neptune's crew sails the boat. This page also shows how to check the company before you pay.
Who arranges Neptune voyages from Labuan Bajo
We are the booking partner for Neptune voyages out of Labuan Bajo. Guests write to us, get a quote, pay a deposit and then the balance, and are met at their hotel by a driver we have arranged. The same WhatsApp thread stays open until they are back on the quay.
The boat and its crew are Neptune's, and we never present either as ours. What is ours is the promise wrapped around the voyage: the price you were quoted, the pickup, and the replacement-boat guarantee in the booking terms.
Our office is in Kampung Air, Labuan Bajo. In practice that means that when a flight runs late or a harbour notice changes the plan, whoever answers your message is a short drive from the pier rather than in another time zone.

- The vessel: a 40 m phinisi with 7 cabins, each with a balcony and its own bathroom.
- The captain and the crew, who choose each anchorage and each landing with the weather.
- Three meals a day, an afternoon coffee and snack, snorkelling gear, linen and towels.

- The quote, the invoice and the payment channels, with their fees stated before you pay.
- The pickup between hotel or airport and the harbour in Labuan Bajo.
- A boat of equal or higher class on the same date, or a refund, if Neptune cannot sail.
- A guide and photo documentation on a private charter, quoted on request.

Before paying anyone, you can look up a NIB on the Indonesian government's business-licensing system, and we would encourage you to. A reservation team that asks for your trust ought to be easy to check.
All payments go to a single company bank account, the one named on your invoice. Card payments carry 3 percent on a payment link and 3 percent on a card machine, PayPal carries 7.2 percent, and you see the fee before you pay.
We answer Daily 08:00–20:00 (WITA). The WhatsApp numbers on the contact page are the only official ones.

Details we confirm on request
Some details are confirmed for your dates rather than in advance. Rates for 2027 are on request with the 2026 list as the reference, dated sailings of the shared 3D2N are confirmed live on WhatsApp, and Kanawa is a stop you can request from the captain. Anything that decides your booking, we confirm in writing before you pay.
