Milestone birthdays and anniversaries

Three kinds of party book this boat for a date: a birthday that ends in a zero, an anniversary with the children and grandchildren along, and a reunion of school friends or cousins. All three fit the same plan. 7 double cabins hold 14 guests on the boat price, each cabin with its own bathroom and balcony, and the guests are the only party aboard.

A smaller celebration can use the shared sailing instead. Two guests marking an anniversary take a Junior Suite seat at IDR 12,800,000 (≈ USD 785) per person, two sharing, on the 3D2N open trip. They sail with other travellers, so the table is not theirs alone. The whole-boat route below is the one that gives a celebration its own table.

The price of the boat does not move with the size of the party, which is why a milestone date is the moment to invite everyone.

Read the boat from the lowest level up. Four Deluxe studios sit on the main deck. Three cabins, Mansard I, Mansard II and the Junior Suite, sit on the upper level, and each takes an extra bed for one or two guests. The rest of the plan is shared: a lounge with sofas and wide glass windows, an indoor dining room, the long dining table on the open deck, and the foredeck with sunbeds.

The day sorts itself between those rooms. Breakfast suits the dining room, the long table suits the evening, and the foredeck suits the minutes before dinner, when the group gathers to watch the light go.

A celebration on 3D2N runs like this. On day 1 the party boards at 10:00, snorkels at Sebayur, Manta Point and Taka Makassar, and anchors for the night off Padar. Day 2 begins with the Padar climb, then Pink Beach, the Komodo or Rinca walk and the sunset at Kalong. Put the main dinner on that second night, once everyone has walked and swum. Day 3 ends with Kelor, a last snorkel and the return to Labuan Bajo after lunch. The captain sets the stops and the anchorage with the weather.

On charters of four days or more a set-up dinner on the beach is included in the price. That makes 4D3N the shortest voyage with a celebration built in. The table is laid ashore, the boat stays at anchor, and the tide and the weather choose which beach. The captain confirms the beach on the day.

On 3D2N the same evening happens on deck. The long outdoor table seats the party together, which is the point of a birthday dinner: nobody eats in a cabin.

Flowers, a cake, banners and balloons are not part of the standard plan. Each is arranged through us and quoted before anything is added to the invoice, so you see the figure before it is yours to approve. If you want a surprise, tell us which guests must not see the message thread, and we write to the organiser only.

The long table is outdoors and the dining room is indoors, so a dinner can move under cover without leaving the party. That matters on any evening when the wind rises.
