Section Notes is Neptune's journal: short pieces written section by section, each about one stop, one number or one decision on a 40 m phinisi. The newest note sits at the top of the list, and every note points back to the page that holds the facts.
What fills Section Notes
Section Notes is the journal column of this site. A note is short, and it does one job. It takes one thing aboard or ashore, measures it, and says what the measurement means for a guest who has not yet booked.
The notes cover the questions guests ask us most. Among them are how a set-up dinner on the beach works, which items of safety kit to ask any charter boat about, how a day charter for a large group is planned, what the wet months at sea look like, and where the boat anchors for the night.
Each note is written by the reservation team from the boat's papers and from the answers guests need. Where the papers are silent, the note says so. We do not publish a note to fill a calendar, so the list grows only when there is something measurable to say.

The latest note sits at the top
The list below shows the newest note first. Each entry carries its date, a title and a line on what the note settles, and the date is the date the facts were last checked, not only the date of writing.
If a rate, a route or a rule changes, the note changes with it, and a correction is marked rather than quietly replaced. A note never contradicts the page it points to; where the two ever differ, the page is right and the note is corrected.
Section Notes is where we put the detail that a page of facts cannot hold: the reasons behind a number, the way a stop looks at a given hour, the thing a guest asked that we had not yet written down. If you have such a question, send it, and it can become the next note.
